How does an apron fit into a blogging conference? You would be surprised! Some of my favorite Apronistas would be attending – including Sandy from Reluctant Entertainer, wearing her own Hip Hostess Apron too!
I got a lot of compliments on the Melon Splash pattern – it’s bright and festive and perfect for spring. A few asked to try it on, and were surprised how well it fit on ALL body types. And quite a few people recognized the apron and said they had a Hip Hostess apron too!!
Debbie has generously allowed me to share with you all the exclusive code she gave me for the BlissDom conference to get 15% off your next purchase at the Hip Hostess – use GETHIP at checkout!
There were lots of Crafty types this year, which I got so much inspiration and energy from – it even inspired me to clean up, move and organize my crafting/sewing/studio area – that is an accomplishment in and of itself! I got to meet Lindsey of The Pleated Poppy (who gave me one of her fabulous covered journals – squeee!), Gussy (wait til you see the bags she made for the girls at (in)courage – and the one I bought!), saw my friends Nester and Kimba and Melissa, and didn’t get to meet so many more! I have to give a special “Heyl!!!” to Apron Thrift Girl – I hope we can work on something together soon!!
Ok, you may be asking why there are no pictures on this post – I had so much fun just being in the moment when I was talking to everyone that I kept forgetting to take pictures! It was a good and bad thing – I have the fabulous memories of talking to people and really engaging with them, but unfortunately, there is no memory card in my brain that I can take out and stick in the computer to share with you! I will leave you with one yummy picture from our Con Agra lunch on Friday -

Love that Paisley apron!
Wasn't that divine? I'm tellin' you girlie. I have a photo of it up close and drool-distance on my blog today, too! I miss you and your hugs. I may cry if I don't get to see you again this year. R U goin' to Relevant?
How is your baby?
Hello,
I have been uploading some of my stuff from Flickr to some of my groups. I am wondering if I can upload the wool Mini-Aprons to the Flickr Apronista group?….it says art aprons but I'm not sure if you only allow a size that fits a human. :0) Please let me know if you don't mind…I do have quite a collection of vintage aprons that I'd love to share so I know I need to join your group for sharing those. :0)
