I started with making soup for a pregnant friend, taking bread to the post office and UPS office for the employees. I expanded it into painting rooms and laying tile for the single Moms I know who thanked me with hugs and tears. It has been so rewarding and I am constantly trying to "outdo" last years efforts. I have this little chart on my recipe card, but we always make a double batch, even only two or three are eating! LOL!! Love 'em. Other topping options are fresh fruit, yogurt and more but we always fall back on lemon juice/powdered sugar. In fact, we having this for breakfast right now! THANKS for sharing these. My grown kids still request them as often as they think they can get me to make them ;-) Here are some more quantities of ingredients/pan sizes some people may be interested in. Pan Size: 2-3 qts, 1/4 cup butter, 3 eggs, 3/4 cup each milk and flour Pan Size: 3-4 qts, 1/3 cup butter, 4 eggs, 1 cup each milk and flour Pan Size: 4-4 1/2 qts, 1/2 cup butter, 5 eggs, 1 1/4 cups milk and flour Pan Size: 4 1/2-5 qts, 1/2 cup butter, 6 eggs, 1 1/2 cups milk and flour Same 20-25 minutes baking time at 425.
